Technology Park Western Australia

 
The Technology Park was opened in 1985 and is an important catalyst for Science and Technology development in Western Australia and is where many of the State’s Science and Technology companies are based. The 40Ha Park provides accommodation for companies which operate in technology-based industries or which contribute to the adoption of technological improvements in other industries. Its growth over the past years has been dramatic with the number of organizations based there growing from 25 to over 90 employing about 3,000 people and a total revenue of more then 500million dollar.  Approximately 30% of the people employed at the Technology Park engaged in R&D activities and the majority of the organizations exporting their products and services.

Brisbane Technology Park

 
The Brisbane Technology Park (BTP) is part of the Queensland Government's Smart State initiative, ensuring a whole-of-government approach to innovation and new-age industries that involves education and training, and a focus on research, biotech and information technology. The BTP companies enjoy a high profile corporate exposure within a community which facilitates the clustering of business sectors involved in the exploitation of scientific and technological R&D, and offers the scope for constructive interaction and exchange between residents.Currently, the Park is a home to 80+ companies employing over 3, 500 people in a 35Ha precinct.

Senai Hi-Tech Park, Johor Malayia

 
Zernike Australia did the Master Planning in 2008 for the Senai High Technology Park (Senai-HTP), a true third generation Science and Technology Park, as a new offer from Malaysia to the international investment community. Senai-HTP will set standards that match the best internationally and comprises modern purpose built accommodation with excellent connectivity that provides a perfect launch pad for Malaysian businesses to penetrate international markets as well as high technology foreign direct investment (FDI) to work profitably in Malaysia. The Amsterdam Science Park

 
The Amsterdam Science Park is an initiative of the Dutch Organisation for Scientific Research (NOW), the Rabobank (commercial bank), the City of Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam. The main goal of the Park is to stimulate the transfer of knowledge from research institutions in and around Amsterdam to small and medium sized businesses in co-operation with the universities, higher vocational schools and intermediary organisations. Amsterdam Science Park stimulates, develops and organises “high-tech” spin offs.

Biopartner Centre Amsterdam

 
The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has granted a total amount of €11.5 million for the establishment of six Biopartner Centers in The Netherlands. These Biopartner Centers are incubator-buildings that will offer suitable accommodation for the start-up life science companies. The Centers comprise office space, laboratories, the required permits and the full infrastructure that a starting entrepreneur shares with other life science start-ups in the Center. Each Center will host at least ten life science start-ups and will be located in the vicinity of knowledge institutes and universities active in the life sciences.

Twinning Centre Amsterdam

  The Twinning Centre was established in 1998 with the primary mission of stimulating ICT entrepreneurship in the Netherlands by offering venture capital, incubation housing and managerial support and access to network to start-up companies. Previously the financial climate for ICT start-up companies was unfavourable resulting in the difficulty of obtaining capital and setting up business. Hence, the purpose of the Twinning Centre was to stimulate and improve the environment for new start-up companies in the ICT sector through providing young ICT companies with risk bearing capital.

IDEA Centers B.V.

  IDEA Centers B.V. was created as a joint venture between Hi-Technology Ventures, the investment fund of Zernike Group B.V., and ABC Bouwmanagement (prominent Dutch construction company). The objective of the company is to develop business-to-business relations by providing technology incubators for start-up companies. Part of the IDEA methodology is to select appropriate locations close to universities, research centres and higher education institutes. The creation of the first centre was in 2001 in Groningen and the follow-up IDEA Centers are planned for Zaanstad, Pumerend, The Hague and Hamburg.

Normanby IDEA Centre, United Kingdom

  The Normanby Idea Centre is an incubator based in Normanby Gateway managed by Zernike UK Limited. The Normanby Gateway is a new purpose built, multi-occupancy, ICT centre located at the entrance to the Normanby Enterprise Park on the northern outskirts of Scunthorpe in Northern Lincolnshire. The aim of this Centre is to encourage small start-up business and so benefit the local economy of North Lincolnshire by stimulating the growth of opportunities and higher value jobs in the area. The Centre is particularly appropriate for IT based businesses or those with a high level usage of ICT although other applications are considered.
