Arnold Stroobach, CEO of Zernike Australia, migrated from Holland to Perth in October 2005 with his wife and two daughters. He has a Masters Degree in Medical Informatics (Medical and Computer science degree combined) and attended several higher management and post-doc courses (MBA, Marketing & Sales).
Arnold is associate Professor of Curtin Business School and is the first point of contact for commercialisation projects, master planning of Technology Parks and economic development projects.
Gill Laird-Portch is the Manager of Brisbane Technology Park, and has over 15yrs of experience in developing and managing specialised Technology Parks and Knowledge-based Precincts. Drawing upon her international experience Gill has a high level of understanding of knowledge-intensive industries and the importance of the provision of value-add services to assist community development.

Gill is also responsible for the delivery of the Qld & NSW Innovation Series which is a well established high level business networking lunch. The series represents organisations at the forefront of innovation, research and technology development and provides a unique forum for researchers, academics and business alike.
